Vibrant marriage and the future

When you read this, keep in mind that most of the Muslims in the UK are of Pakistani origin:
Rachna Kumari, 16, was shopping for dresses in this city's dust-choked bazaar when it happened. The man who her family says abducted her was not a street thug. He was a police officer. Nor was he a stranger. Rachna's family knew and trusted him. He guarded the Hindu temple run by her father, an important duty in a society where Hindus are often terrorized by Muslim extremists, and he had helped Rachna cram for her ninth-grade final exams. After she disappeared from the market, he did not demand a ransom. According to her family, he had an entirely different purpose: to force her to convert to Islam and marry him.

In a country where Hindu-dominated India is widely reviled as Enemy No. 1, Pakistan's Hindu community endures extortion, disenfranchisement and other forms of discrimination. These days, however, Hindus are fixated on a surge of kidnappings of teenage girls by young Muslim men who force them to convert and wed. Pakistani human rights activists report as many as 25 cases a month.
Of course, the left-wing champions of barbarian immigration aren't likely to be concerned about the risk of adding these vibrant cultural traditions to their societies, since they are statistically less inclined to have children in the first place. This inspires an idea. Perhaps it's best to forget women's suffrage, as it's arguably even more important to not permit those who have no stake in the future any voice in shaping it. Why should the childless be permitted to sentence future generations to whom they have no connection to massive quantities of debt? This also has the added bonus of disproportionately removing the most ideologically problematic women from the electorate as well as many of the most left-leaning men.

Well, I guess if you're trying to speed up the demise of Western Civilization, that's a good tactic. I'm not really sure its demise needs speeding up, though. It's doing pretty well in that area on its own.

The interesting thing about women voters is that they often do not make up their mind whom to vote for until the day of the election.

This, according to what they say when polled.

Many of the male Gen X'ers and Millennials have spent most of their formative years being "taught" by women teachers, who don't know what they are going to say until they hear themselves saying it.

I love my wife and I love women.

But...

1) they should not be in charge of teaching boys to be men,
2) they should not be allowed to vote.

Our own women are destroying our society. It's as simple as that.

Anonymous VryeDenker April 25, 2012 6:55 AM

I wouldn't put the blame just on a certain section of society. We are facing a total onslaught. Special interest groups are just cogs in a much more sinister machine.

The power women have accumulated is not new power. Its power they took from the vacuum created by the abdication of male responsibility.

Id say one vote per net tax paying married couple with at least one child. Someone on the dole or employed by the public has a conflict of interest and shouldnt vote. Married couples demonstrate a concrete reason to care about the future. Simple.

The problem there is the Welfare State. When property rights are not secure, but a group of other people can vote themselves a share of your stuff, society is headed, sooner or later, for economic collapse.

The people who have no children are much less of a threat than the idiots who breed like rabbits, then demand that everyone else pick up the tab for it.

So the family knows these kidnappings are happening yet they allow this man close proximity to their daughter including helping her with her studies? And only now they've learned to keep the younger sister protected.

Meanwhile in Kyrgyzstan, bride kidnapping is a welcome tradition for both families in half of their marriages. With the bride knowing it's going to happen and the kidnapper being her boyfriend.

Such exotic and fascinating traditions, these people.

Perhaps Islam borrowed that from Judaism:
Deuteronomy 22:
28 “If a man finds a young woman who is a virgin, who is not betrothed, and he seizes her and lies with her, and they are found out, 29 then the man who lay with her shall give to the young woman’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife because he has humbled her; he shall not be permitted to divorce her all his days.

Bride kidnapping within a culture (Celtic, Kyrgyzstan, otherwise..) is an extension of arranged marriages. Not saying it's right (or wrong), just that in a cultured where most people over most of history haven't had a say in who they married In the first place, adding in kidnapping is no more unusual than adding ninjas to a Chuck Norris movie: it's entertaining, and it doesn't actually alter the nature of the thing.

And re LES: the Hebrew word translated "seize" is, if I remember correctly, also used for everything from capturing cities to playing musical instruments. So unless the cop in question was an inept devotee of Roissy, it isn't a parallel to the Hebrew tradition.

Where in the passage does it say the woman was unwilling.

Note the term "and they are discovered", meaning caught in the act by an eyewitness. Unlike the Western tradition of putting full weight on the word of the woman if she declares it rape ex-post-facto.

It's quite inaccurate to compare an arranged marriage by two sets of loving parents to a kidnapping. I actually happen to know a Western European (Caucasian) couple who were gently prodded into getting together and although at first it seemed odd they're now inseparable. They would not have known each other if it wasn't for their parents. Both members of the couple come from good families, are hard working, intelligent, well educated, reasonably wealthy and religious and love each other. In each case the parent had an insight into the character of their child and was able to find similar people through communal ties. What was a bonus was that they could also gauge the extended family and discover that they're all pretty well adjusted, respectable and successful people. Not every arranged marriage has to be between an innocent virgin and a cruel miser, only performed for familial prestige. To compare that to a forced abduction is extreme. What we're probably doing is looking at the old style arranged marriages through our own modern prejudiced culture which can provide an inaccurate view sometimes.

Yeah no. See boomers and the last 100 years of eroding property rights due to public education.

Now, if you actually enforce contracts in marriage/divorce laws, I might buy into it. The notion that I'm only caring about the future if I'm married with a kid in this age of no fault divorce/hypergamy is delusional.

And, filing for divorce nullifies your right to vote, as does being homosexual, membership in an enviro/socialist organization, being Muslim, being a lawyer, membership in a union, being a government employee (other than uniformed military) or nonwhite.

Or it could be a contraction of |Kyrgyz|istan to |Kyrgyz|. Where Kirghiz is the actual pronunciation in English. Come on now, follow along.

Some of us actually consult books. And if that fails you, you could always try Google and Wikipedia.

We'll start simple. I found a children's book for you: The Sneetches

Now a couple of questions just on the Sneetches short story.

- What was the moral of the story regarding stars on the Sneetches bellies?
- Is it a good thing to discriminate like that on physical appearance?

Re the idea to restrict voting in the U.S. to whites...
If there's one thing clear post-WWII about different races/ethnicities/religions/etc., it's that they can't live together longterm if the percentage of the smaller group is above a certain threshold; see Yugoslavia, Lebanon, etc., for examples. There are only two majority-white nations in the Western Hemisphere, while there are about 20 that are majority nonwhite (without even getting into the island nations of Cuba, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, etc.). That't plenty of places for the latter to live; whites need countries in which to work, creat and raise their families, and otherwise peacefully live out their lives not as slaves, dhimmis, or the prey of masses of unproductive, immoral, economically useless in a modern economy nonwhite criminals.

Read http://www.colorofcrime.com/colorofcrime2005.html, http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/924795/posts, and the chapter in Edward Banfield's book The Unheavenly City Revisited on how differing socioeconomic classes view time to get a feel for this, if in doubt.
